"Vietnamese Fun-eral" is an 1 hour 30 minutes live performance project born from a collaboration between V2X Academy and RMIT. Tasked with designing a visual set for DJ performances under the theme of “Vina,” we were challenged to explore and incorporate distinctly Vietnamese elements into our work. The concept, aptly titled "Vietnamese Funeral," delves into the rich customs and traditions of funeral rites in Southern Vietnam. Through a contemporary visual reinterpretation, the project traces the journey from the moment of passing to the final farewell, offering a modern perspective on these deeply rooted cultural practices.
